Welcome to 𝘿𝙊𝙂𝙐𝙀 𝘽𝙮 𝙂𝙞𝙣𝙖, where you’ll never be judged for loving your doggie more than life (in fact, it’s encouraged here!)
Stop getting embarrassed for having full on conversations (or even arguments) with your fur babies in public, for taking countless pictures of or with them (getting their good side), asking them what they want to do next, and smothering them with parental love. Why is it socially unacceptable to love them like humans? Why is it weird to talk to them? Language barrier be damned, you know they understand you (or at least get the gist!)
I used to find myself making jokes or excuses when a random neighbor would walk up and find me chatting away with my babies and I often felt like when someone approached us that I needed to stop, until one day I decided I just don’t care anymore. And more than that, I want it to become normal to do so! Let’s play with them in public the way we do with kids, give kisses, argue with them when they’re naughty, negotiate with them when necessary, and treat them like the wonderful, intelligent, living and breathing creatures that they are. Just because they don’t speak English doesn’t mean they should be treated like objects. In fact, I’ve now entirely removed the word “pet” from my vocabulary. Because they don't exist for the purpose of being my pets.
I don’t know about you but I love dogs and I’m comfortable saying I love them more than most humans. And I can definitely say that I love MY fur children more than anything. Yep. I said it.
(Remember how Chaz Michael Michaels felt about his hair brush? That’s how I feel about my kelpies Kopi and Kai!)
We’re there for each other when times are rough and we celebrate the wins together. I can’t think of a deeper bond (and I’m madly in love with my forever person and it’s still not the same. Don’t believe me? Check out my instagram. Nuff said).
-Okay I’m fully aware that I now sound ACTUALLY crazy but stay with me for a minute. While I cannot imagine loving another human more than I love my one and only, that love is a very different love than a motherly love for the beings for which she cares. That’s the purest love. I’m pretty sure all moms of humans know what I mean. It doesn’t mean they don’t love their husbands or wives, but husbands and wives are chosen and the love for your children is cosmic. It just is what it is, and my honey fully understands and gladly takes second to my boys. It works for us and I hope everyone gets to feel this feeling at some point in their lives. There’s nothing like it.-
So if you’re tired of feeling embarrassed or not being yourself at ANY point in your life, then join me in this liberating doggie movement of love and not giving a shih tzu! And who knows?! Maybe you’ll feel so amazing you’ll start to show up more and more as your authentic self no matter WHAT the situation- even in other circumstances, be it in your career, with family, or in other social situations. And you deserve that!

For now, we support the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and other local shelters and organizations that share our mission, but our end goal and vision that keeps us motivated each and every day is to build something even bigger...

That is why we’re here.
